Boobies or Boogers

At the grocery store Norah was again yelling boobies and whether people she knew had them. "Boobies! Mommy have boobies. Mason no have boobies. My have boobies." and etc. I told her to quiet done and stop yelling boobies in the store. She then yelled "How bout boogers! My have boogers in nose. Mason have boogers". I don't really know which is better for a 2 year old to yell through the grocery store.

An "Owie" Story

Mason had to write a story at school about getting an "owie". This is what he wrote.

"I fell down niagra falls. There were sharks at the bottom and box jelly fish. Then I fell down the grand canyon. Then a sumrien fell on me. The sumrien bloow up."

Probably a little more than an "owie", but definitely more creative than something like "I fell off my bike".

In a braggy mood

So I'm just really in a braggy mood today. I'm so happy that Mason won the spelling bee, and more importantly, had so much fun being in it. He told me he wasn't too scared in front of all those people and he's glad I made him practice.

Today he got a letter sent home saying he is in the Excel groups for both Math and Reading. The E-groups are the equivalent of TAG at SEP or LEAP at Scioto. I'm so proud of him for doing good in school and for loving to learn.

A conceited 2 yr old

One day at the YMCA a nice lady named Jane went on and on about how cute Norah was. Several people have made these comments, but these must have stuck with Norah. Ever since that day she has been saying "Norah so cute" and "Norah so beautiful". I tried saying that Mason and Wesley were so cute too, but she just says "No! Norah so cute." Eventually she did admit that her brothers are so cute, Mommy is so beautiful, and Daddy is so old man. She likes to give being cute as an excuse for everything though.
Tonight she was throwing a fit because I wouldn't give her a snack while I was making dinner. I told her don't be naughty and she said "I not be naughty. I be so cute." She's only 2. I can't imagine how this girl will act as a teenager.
