A Birthday Party Idea

Tonight I thought I came up with a great birthday party idea that Wesley would love. I asked him if him and Norah wanted to have a Hawaiian Beach party. I thought we could have Hawaiian Patties, pineapple, etc. I also gave him a list of fun things we could do like have everyone come in their beach gear, run through sprinklers, play on a slip-n-slide, water balloons, all kinds of fun stuff. He just stared at me and finally asked "Will there be a cake and can I eat it outside on a table?". This is the 2nd time he has mentioned eating cake on a table outside, so I guess it's the simple things in like that please him.

New Joke for Norah

The boys taught their favorite joke to Norah.

Mason: "Norah guess what?"

Norah: "Chitchen Butt!"

I've always loved the way she says chicken, but this makes it even cuter.

Little Miss Attitude

Me: "Norah do you want back in the stroller?"
Norah: "Noooo."
Me: "Then walk."
Norah: "Noooo."
Me: "Do you want me or daddy to carry you?"
Norah: "Noooo!!!"
Me: "Who taught you that naughty word?"
Norah: "Cause." (with an adorable little smile)

Babysitting=Pets

Wesley told me that when I babysit kids in our house it's basically just like having some pets. He said I have to walk the kids to the bus stop, feed them, play with them, and clean up poop. So it's just like having pets. I guess he is glad we have extra kids in our house so he doesn't miss Bussie and Darby as much.

Mean Midnight Lilly

Mason has been telling us that he keeps hearing someone sing a song in his head and it won't stop. The song is "Mean Midnight Lilly". Levi told him to write down the words. He wrote them down and then wrote a sequel to it. There are also some pictures of Mean Lilly (frown and angry eyebrows) with a gun. Below are the lyrics as Mason wrote them (with some spelling errors).

So Levi thinks these are cute songs. I find them creative, but very disturbing. Especially since he said he heard them whispered in his head.

Getting Old

A mom has to now she's getting old when her son requests deodorant from the store. Really thought I had a few more years before that would happen.
