I love my boys, but sometimes I get so sick of the constant fart or poop jokes. And the thing is, the jokes aren't even funny. Most of the time all one of the boys has to do is say the word "fart" and the other one bursts out laughing. For example, we were at Kroger last night and the boys were walking behind me. Wesley said "You're a farty farty fart head" and Mason couldn't control his laughter. Was it really that funny? I turned to both of them and said that the next person to say the word "fart" would be sold to one of the Kroger shoppers.
It just seems like they have to throw fart/poop into every sentence. We had some ants in our house last week, but bought some ant bait traps and now they are gone. Mason said they are gone because of the poison, but Wesley has a different take on this. He said "The ants are gone because they ate too much of our food and are full. They left because they really need to poop and don't want to do it in our house". Any excuse to use the word "poop" at the dinner table.
When will my boys out grow this stage?

Norah says the cutest things
Norah is now 21 months old and is a constant talker at home. She says the most adorable things sometimes and the naughtiest things at other times. I remember I loved when she learned to say "mommy, daddy, baby, ball, Wesley, Bubba, etc". Now she is linking words together like crazy and speaking in complete sentences. She even called our neighbor "Comfy Shorts Cameron" the other day. She does this all the time at home, but is still a little shy speaking around strangers. Below are some of my favorite phrases from Norah. I need to jot them down before I forget.
"Weshley stinks", "Mommy Happy?", "Bubba Rocks", "I want pretties", "Weshley quit, git", "Baby ssh. Quiet. Quit!", "Play friend Abby", "Darby good girl", "Daddy is Norah cutes?", "I need drink, I want milk" and my personal favorite "I want Eyes Eyes Baby" (aka Ice Ice Baby).
She has so many more and the expressions and actions she has to go with them are so cute. I really need to get out the video camera more often to catch these moments. It's something I'm sure I will miss as she gets older.

Dinner Conversation
Levi was in New York today for work and will not be getting back until late tonight. I usually have a good memory about things the kids have said, but I have decided when Levi is gone I need to start writing down the things the kids say so I don't forget and have no one to remind me. Tonight's dinner conversation was a perfect example of this.
Mason was telling Wesley, Norah, and me about Jackson throwing up at school again today. He was so mad because both times that Jackson has thrown up in class he has been sitting by him. Wesley then started talking about how someone barfed in his class the other day. While we normally don't talk about throwing/barfing at the dinner table I let the conversation continue because Wesley was describing that "barf" has lots of germs and how you need to make sure you wash your hands and face afterwards. Mason started describing the differences between "barf" and "throwing up". According to him, barf is when you have tons of stuff coming out of your mouth, but throwing up is just when there is a little puddle of spit. That is why Jackson "threw up" today rather than "barfed". Oh the joys of dinner with only the kids!

Hello
I love reading other people's blogs about their families and children and thought I should finally start my own. I'm not very good at coming up with random things to write about, but I love retelling stories about my kids. That is what the majority of this blog will be.
